City Manager Elizabeth Borstad (right) and Community Development Manager Donna Meredith attended the Texas Economic Development Council's Annual Conference in Addison this week. The conference was held Oct. 23-25 at the Marriott Quorum Hotel in Addison, Texas. The conference program featured a variety of sessions and panels covering a wide range of economic development topics, such as:

- Site Readiness
- Access to Capital
- Economic Development Priorities and Marketing
- Key Legislative Priorities
Mrs. Borstad said the conference was a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest trends and strategies in economic development, and to network with other economic development professionals from around the state.
