Job Description: 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Audit and prepare timekeeping for bi-weekly payroll for 300+ plant employees
  • Manage Attendance Policy by tracking and maintaining systems
  • Responsible for completing and/or maintaining HR records for the following:
  • Employee Personal Changes
  • New Hire paperwork
  • Termination paperwork
  • Form I-9 and E-verify
  • Payroll Reporting
  • Payroll Auditing
  • Employment Verifications
  • Garnishment/Deductions
  • Short Term Disability & FMLA administration
  • Applicant Tracking
  • Monthly insurance and 401K Eligibility
  • Workers Compensation
  • Work with HR Manager and Plant Manager to support HR programs including staffing, orientation, benefits enrollment, performance appraisal process, corrective action, event planning, online training, and other projects as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting- internal job postings, schedule candidate interviews, review resumes, pre-employment drug/background screen, and facilitate interview feedback from hiring manager
  • Function as a support resource to the management by anticipating needs, and aligning with team goals
  • Responsible for Worker’s Compensation claims
  • Maintain daily headcount reports for Plant Manager
  • 3- 5 years prior HR experience in a high volume, production or distribution environment, required
  • Degree required (Associates required, Bachelor’s preferred)
Special Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: 
  • Detail Oriented with good numerical skills
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Self- starter with desire to learn, grow, and develop
  • Previous experience with timekeeping and/or payroll system preferred
  • Sound judgement and ability to problem solve
  • Proficient Computer skill: Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
